Podcast and Marketing

I love to listen to the radio.

I don’t think I even discovered talk radio until I got my first 9-5 job out of college.  After a few months, the tiring radio stations kept playing the same top 40 over and over and I wanted something new each day.  I sought out the typical talk radio AM and even the local NPR and syndicated NPR.

Upon the boom of the blogosphere came podcasts.  New media!

I love it.

I am a junkie for a podcast.  I can work while I listen and learn and be entertained.   I am always asking friends what they listen to for referrals.

You never really hear of a podcast going “viral”.  Like, it’s only video youtube stuff, but there is a lot of great listening content on the net.

So here are a few of my favorite interviews, podcasts, etc.

Special thanks to Bobbi Lewin for asking on Twitter.

I’ve been meaning to post my favorite marketing and artist podcast interviews and now is a great opportunity.  Please add your own in the comments.

Interview with artist Ann Rea.

Interview with Emily Martin of The Black Apple.

DesignSpongeOnline podcasts.  An array of a collection of their favorites.

IllustrationIsland always has podcasts available.

I know after I post this I will think of more that I want to share, and I want to highlight what suggestions you have in the comments.  So share and we will post them on our blog for future listening material.
